Let’s Do It! Nigeria (LDIN), is the representative and World Clean Up Day Nigeria Franchise holder
We share the commitment of Let’s Do It World vision, mission and values, with the objective to raise awareness about waste crisis locally and minimize waste production and maximize material recovery while creating sustainable change in societies towards clean and waste-free future. LDIN organizes environmental management programmes and World Clean-Up Day.
LDIN joined the network in 2016, is devoted to promoting a free waste economy and waste to wealth system. In 2017, with the support of the HQ, we completed a pilot cleanup that led to the reconstruction and commissioning of a major road and drainages in Lagos. In 2018, we launched the first world cleanup day in Nigeria and attracted presence and grants for the execution of the project.
On 2019 world cleanup day, our activities and action won us the “Widest Media Reach”, the project was executed with zero budgets but relied so much on partnership. In 2021 World Cleanup Day we increased our presence and participation to 27 States with more volunteers and partners ready to be officially signed up for subsequent programmes and events.
As one of the representatives promoting the goals and objectives of the network in Nigeria, LDIN hosted a professional and well organized 2021 Africa Leaders’ Academy which was ascribed first of its kind and captured as a successful, remarkable and memorable event by all Leaders and Volunteers across Africa.
Our main goal is to expose solutions and business opportunities in waste management to citizens of Nigeria through our various projects and programmes which promises to be more successful than ever before.
We believe in putting a sustainable programme in place to create a smart society while we reduce waste in our society rather than regular cleanup.
We hope you would find that the quality of our proposal is fully in line with your CSR activities.
